Maybe it's the bowl, the way they're lying, or the tenth text to the sitter. Somewhere along the way, loving them turned into watching them.
press pause on the worry
Imagine keeping every bit of that love, and finally letting go of the stress that comes with it.
That's exactly what The Pause Button is for.
Every check ends with a little relief, and that relief is exactly what sends you back to check next time.
The loop runs underneath your thinking, on autopilot. That's why telling yourself to relax hasn't stuck, and why the stress keeps building.
They might notice what your body does.
No blame here. Emotions are contagious, and it means you have more say in the room than you think.
What I needed was a way to keep every bit of the caring and switch off the stress. What finally helped was working underneath, where the loop actually runs.

Nobody's asking you to care less. The vigilance stays. The hyper, and the stress that comes with it, goes.
In every part, the video shows you the pattern. Then a subconscious audio session takes it in underneath, where the work really takes hold and the pattern starts to change.
How noticing quietly turns into monitoring, and how the loop keeps it going.
Noticing something stops tipping straight into alarm, and the worry loosens its grip.
What your animal might be reading in you, and one small way to soften it in the moment.
Your body lets go sooner, and they have less to brace against.
Letting go of "nothing bad can ever happen" and trusting yourself to respond when you're needed.
More pause before the worst ending, and real rest in between.
Move on when it feels right. About a week per part is a good rhythm.
That fear is what keeps the watching switched on. Here's what tends to happen instead.
When you can put a pause between noticing and reacting, you see more clearly. You notice what's actually going on, and you respond.
Nobody's telling you to skip the vet. Go, and go calm and grounded, so you can really help them.
I paused the first day when she seemed a little slow, but I didn't panic. I didn't know what was going on, so I monitored her instead of obsessing about how she was doing.
And then the next day I was like, nah, she's not herself. She definitely needs to see the vet. And she is all good now.
Even the vet noticed how calm both of us were. That was not the norm before.
Taking the HYPER out of vigilance

Yes, I'm ready to let the stress gofor just $47
I've spent 20+ years working with animals and their humans. Dogs, cats, horses, the species changes but the pattern never does.
The reactive dog. The cat peeing outside the box. The horse that won't load. Every single time, when I look at the animal, I find the human's nervous system running the show underneath.
And one of the patterns I see most is the watching. Loving them so much that you never quite get to switch off.
Your animal might be mirroring some of what you're holding too: tension, hypervigilance, stress you might not even notice you're carrying. The Pause Button starts with supporting that part of you, so you both have more room to settle.
It works directly with your subconscious, the part running these patterns on autopilot, so the shift happens even on your busiest days. You don't need extra time or energy for it to work, just headphones and a place to sit.
